List of Auction Items!

12/20 update:Please leave emails so we can track you down easily!

12/19 Update: Please round your bids to the nearest  5$. Going forward, we will only be able to accept the highest bid (in an increment of 5$). For ex: 30$ bid, followed by a 33$ . If the auction ended - we will take the 30$ bid. It's just easier accounting for us :) Thx for understanding!

12/18 Update: Donations will now be made DIRECTLY to the Newtown Youth and Family Services. They have created a web site for direct payment

(The agencies Tax ID number for your taxes is 06-1082115.)

NOTE: Some of the auctions will be opening up to International Bidders so check the comments and listings!!

We thank you in advance for donating to Publishing Hearts Connecticut!

We appreciate any bids and understand the holidays are near. With budgets, it is difficult o spend money. WE just wanted to do something for the families who will not have the holiday they expected this year or any year going forward.

If you do not see anything you like/need or have a budget, feel free to give a monetary donation directly to the United Way in Western Connecticut/Sandy Hook Relief Fund. The links are provided on the side bar.

Thank you for giving!

Author of Milo 2.0/Agent Intern Debra Driza

I’m Debra Driza, and I’m a physical-therapist-turned-Young-Adult-author and a stay-at-home mom. Not to be confused with a stay-at-home mistress—those are the ones who eat bon-bons and watch soap operas all day long. The soap operas sort of fall by the wayside when you have a seven-year old, a three-year-old, three dogs (one of them seriously defective), one extremely messy husband, and deadlines to meet.
Seriously, though–my family is great. I wouldn’t change one second of our crazy, messy, unorganized lives. What this house lacks in a paper or dog-free spot on the couch, it makes up for in laughter and hugs.
I’m represented by Taylor Martindale of the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.  The first book in my YA sci-fi thriller series debuts in Fall 2012 from Katherine Tegen Books/Harper Collins.

    Editor/Author Georgia McBride

Georgia was born and raised in NYC, but has been living in NC since 2006. She hates to be bored. Then why move to the sticks with little to do, you ask? Georgia believes you ask too many questions.
A career marketer and former manager of rock bands (and a boy band here or there), she now writes full-time. When not writing, or running her very own piece of the publishing landscape called Month9Books (a speculative fiction imprint for teens and tweens), or managing the non-profit literary organization YALITCHAT.ORG (which she founded), Georgia works as a freelance editor and ghostwriter.
Georgia founded Month 9 Books in 2012, a young adult  imprint featuring speculative fiction stories from some of today’s most admired young adult and middle grade authors.
On the homefront, Georgia rocks the mom thing–rounding up 2 kids, 3 Chihuahuas, 1 fancy green cheek Conure and 1 frog. Hardcore. She hopes to sneak another dog into the house without anyone noticing.
Georgia writes books for teens and tweens, and even has an adult non-fiction book brewing in that overactive brain of hers. In fact, she’s conjuring up new ideas right now.
She doesn’t understand why people say black is not a color since it, gray and red are the only three colors in her wardrobe. Georgia also believes that one can never own too many hoodies, in black of course. She plays her music loud. Don’t bother asking her to turn it down.
An animal lover, Georgia supports adoption (people and dogs), music appreciation, reading/literacy, animal rescue, cultural exchange, eco-friendly activities, equal rights for everyone, and believes that we can achieve world peace. We have only to genuinely try.
Georgia is represented by Tamar Rydzinski of The Laura Dail Literary Agency. This is a good thing.
